At times like this...I sure could use a dog.

Sometimes life sucks. Sometimes reality sucks. Wait. That's always. Sometimes it becomes Thursday and suddenly the imaginary life you've been living stops. For the past 3 weeks I've been living in an alternate world.
Week 1 - Thoroughly Modern Mille. Best. Show. Ever. So fun and learned so much. Missed a bunch of school, got sick, love the priesthood. Love my daddy and Brother Leavitt. Basically lived at the school but never actually did anything pertaining to school work.

Week 2 - Spring Break. Nuff said.

Week 3 - CHOIR TOUR!!!!!!! Best. Week. Ever. Literally. I'm going back. I loved it so much. This was basically my first visit to Disneyland and basically it exceeded my expectations. My dreams came true in Disneyland. First item of business: I WAS ASKED TO PROM!!!!!!!!!! ON SPLASH MOUNTAIN!!!!! How freaking legit is that??????
The asking.

The answer. :) SO STOKED. Thanks Nate.:)
All my lovely roommates. Seriously, I love these girls. Lemmon heads....

My first ride on California Screamin'. I might have cried when I got off....don't worry. By third ride I couldn't get enough and begged to go on again and again :)

Medieval Times. Best. EVER. Rian, Jennie, Hot Knight, Me, and Jesslyn.
THE FAM. LOVE THESE KIDS!!!! Andy, Drake, Adam, Nate, Rian, Me, Jennie, Eva, Haily
 Love these guys.
 FERB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Could be the best picture...and then Adam ruins it. But it wouldn't be natural if he didn't, right?
And the picture that we sent to Heather. Nate's face says, "It's not my fault. Please don't kill me when I get home."

Basically I loved it so much. I love people and friends. Even though sometimes we clog toilets...and...yeah. Rough. And sometimes we all hate each other. But that's okay. Choir tour was amazing.

And then I came home. And suddenly I was faced with all the school work that I never did as well as a million other things. I was doing great until today. When I finally had a free moment. Basically I went to the bathroom during choir and just had a good cry. That was nice..sort of. BUT. I did get a job at Jamba Juice, so come visit me there, okay?
I don't want my friends to graduate, I don't want to do this showcase, I don't want her to go through that, I don't want it to be my fault, I want to make it better, I don't want to worry, I want to go to bed.

Phew. Well. Moral of the story is that sometimes life is dumb and most of the time there ain't nothing you can do about it. So if I'm a brat to you in the next couple of days, get over it. And just wait a couple days and I'll be good. Kapeesh?

17 years ago today...

I was born!!! Happy Birthday to meeee!!! This is one of the BEST days of the year!! Better than Christmas? Debatable... Better than Disneyland? Probably not...but good thing I'll be there in 4 days!!!! Woohoo!! Regardless, today is still amazing.

This morning my favorite hoob took me to breakfast. (You might know her as my good sister Keri.) We had some delicious french toast at Kneaders. And it was.

Just...being hoobs.

So..this was 1 year ago today....
I think I look older? Yes? Maybe? Mostly I look more Asian....
THEN I had the most wonderful privilege of having lunch with Barbra Barington Jones. That was amazing. We prayed and we talked and talked. We bore testimonies, laughed cried. I gave her advice, she gave me advice. She answered my prayers. it was AMAZING. I have a feeling we're going to become really good friends over the years. She's crazy, but she's a phenomenal lady.

After lunch my mother dearest and I went shopping in Draper. 2 shirts, a platter, and many U-turns later, we made it home. When I got home I went and did baptisms with my best friend. That was also a fantastic birthday activity. It was peaceful and calming.

Now it's time for my delicious birthday dinner. So...farewell! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!!

Prom and Jobs.

So it turns out that the Scera Pool hates me and would rather hire a 14 year old and not me...soooo I applied for some more different jobs. Today I applied for Jamba Juice (my first choice), Golden Spoon, and J-Dawgs. Tomorrow I'm applying at the Hale. I really hope someone at least interviews me! Because let's face it. I'm poor and I need money. Story of my life.
Also....I HATE when people publicly announce their woes of not getting asked to a dance but let's be real. How many people actually read my blog? So what I'm really trying to say is....ASK ME ON A DATE!!!!!!!!!!!
The End.

Contrary to popular belief...

I'm still alive!!! So...I clearly have not written in 7 million years. My bad. A lot of things have happened. Let's see if I can get everything down.

1. Andrew got his Eagle!!

2. I planned a stake dance and it happened...with minimal amounts of tears.
Partying with my little brother :)
My girls :)

3. Went on a hot date with the one and only Caleb Tinney. It was a BLAST! And Adam and I sang "I See The Light" from Tangled at the dance.

4. Millie opened!!! Some see it! Monday through Thursday, 7pm, $5 for students.
5. Watched the Young Women's Broadcast AND General Conference. SOOOO good!!! If you missed any of it...go watch it. Church is true.

Basically...that's all for now. When I actually believe in having time again, I'll write a real post.
Love you little, love you big, love you like little pigs!

Today I applied for my first job. Ever. At the Scera Pool. Don't apply for it because I don't want any competition...:)
Also, today was Sunday and it was amazing. And the world is deciding to think about being spring. And I love it. And I love my family.
And I hate Stake Dances. Especially when I have to plan them.
And sometimes I'm a loser and don't do anything on Saturday nights. It's fine.

Peace.

Happy 50th!

This is my official fiftieth blog post. I feel pretty cool. So I apologize for my lack of pictures lately...the thing is, I was looking through my pictures on facebook and I realized that the most recent pictures are from Shakespeare Festival in October. I guess I'm just not cute anymore. Because obviously that's the most logical option.
Well...today I took the ACT. I seriously stressed out SO much over it. It was bad. But thankfully I had my  Papito (Daddy) give me a wonderful Father's Blessing and had lots of people praying for me and said lots of prayers. I felt okay about it. I felt like I had learned everything on the test, it was just a matter of being able to recall said information and answer the question in the amount of time given to me. I really hope I did well. I'm aiming to go to BYU and I think I'm pretty well qualified except for my ACT score. But I haven't gotten it back yet and if it's bad I can always take it again.
After taking that 4 hour test, I headed to my sister's house to share lunch with her and her two adorable children. My niece calls me Em-olly and it is definitely the cutest thing of my life. We talked for a long time about my high school experience and that was really good. It was nice to hear that I'm not the only one who goes through a bunch of poop in life.
After lunch I headed back to school so that I could work on the skirt I am making in sewing. It's going to turn out really cute. It's been hard to work on though because I don't have a pattern and I have to keep asking Mama G for help. It will come together in due time. Then I headed to rehearsal. I did 2 numbers and then stayed there for 5 million hours and never got used. Sigh. I hate when that happens.

The real reason why I'm posting is what happened after rehearsal. So...my friend, Adam, is having a birthday on Thursday. And I thought, you know, birthday's are really awesome and I hate when people don't make a big deal out of my birthday. (Yeah. I'm a brat.  Get over it.) And I got my friend Andy something for his birthday (a pancake breakfast...maybe not that great) and so I concluded that I should get him a gift. But...I couldn't think of anything. And then I remembered that this one time during Secret Garden a particular group of girls were complaining about his breath smelling bad. Well they were kind of talking about it in front of him but they wouldn't tell him what they were saying. I, seeing no need to keep things secret (and using every ounce of awkwardness in me) said, "Hey Adam, they think your breath reeks. You should work on that." We proceeded to have a conversation about the unfortunate occurrence of smelling breath and I asked him if he had ever used a tongue scraper (I swear by mine) and he said no. So I told him that I would get him one for his birthday.

I may or may  not have purchased a tongue scraper today.

Am I just so awkward?? This could either be really legit or really...not. I think I might just chicken out by the time Thursday rolls around. I think it's pretty hilarious of my to give that present and thoughtful too. But that might just be crossing the line of...I'm a creeper and think your breath stinks. I've never even smelled his breath to be quite honest! I just love that this is what is giving me the most grief in my life right now. Should I should I not give my friend a tongue scraper? And though I doubt Adam will read this, in case he does, just act surprised and completely content with it okay??? K thanks.

WELL. Tomorrow mi madre comes home :) YAY!! I miss her.
Also...that's all. Remember who you are. I'll try to be more photogenic.
K bye.
