DONE

I survived the end of the term. PRAISE. Not as happy with my grades as I wish I was. Lowest grades in Miller's class. Duh. I transfered out of AP Bio and got yelled at by Miller. He made me cry. Yeah that was super cool. Love it. Turns out he's in the hospital today though. I hope I killed him...probably not though, because that would mean I committed murder which is bad.
Last week was crazy. Mom, Dad, and Ashlee all left on Wednesday, the same day as my choir concert and YA rehearsal AND they day before my huge Bio final, Gov final, and the day before my reading pages were due. Rough. BUT I survived and I am done :)

This weekend was fantastic! I stayed with Carly Friday and Saturday night. PARTY. Friday we auditioned for our schools "Night on Broadway". Our version of She's in Love from The Little Mermaid totally kicked butt! We rock. Then Carly and I wanted to sing a duet so we prepared a song from Aida only we changed it last minute because they had too many ballads. So our audition was rough, but we still got in! Both numbers! So excited!

Then Carly, Haley, Rian, Andy, Christian, Ian, and I were all at the school and we decided we wanted to party. We agreed to watch The Quest for Camelot at my house. But only after Haley, Carly, and I went to the Leavitts ward's Halloween party. Yeah. We went trunk or treating. Best. Idea. Ever. We saw Mrs. Mohlman? Yeah..probably. Haley and I laughed for an hour. Then to my house it was. We party. We're cool.

That night I went home with Carly. She sleeps weird. Probably we have issues sharing the same bed. Sometimes we sit in bed talking and sometimes someone text me at 1 in the morning. WHAT THE??! This person.

Saturday we went to Curtis Liddiard's baptism. He just moved here from Ohio and they both made the wonderful decision to be baptized. It was such a spiritual experience, one that I am so glad I got to be a part of. Then Carly dropped me off and I cleaned my house. Then she came over and we sat in our sweats and ate lunch and watched Castle. Holy love that episode was so good. That night we wanted to just continue our sweat, sitting, movie business. Instead Adam made us go to a stake dance. That was a rough experience. There was just some tension. So I sat outside while Carly and Adam worked it out. Andy came and sat and talked with me so I didn't have to sit by myself. He's a good kid.

Finally we went inside and I unthawed. I have good friends. People make mistakes. But I'm glad when my friends make mistakes because it helps me realize that they're human too. I like it when people are human.

Sunday Carly's mom made us German pancakes :) They were super delicious. We went to Adam Schreadel's farewell. He's going to be a good missionary. Then Carly took me to my ward and so I could hear Alex Peacock's homecoming talk. I love missionaries :) After, Keri and I went to visit Grandma. Love her.

Then I went to back to Carly's and had dinner and read scriptures and spent 3 hours looking for a Halloween costume. No dice. Finally she took me home and we actually read our government book. When she left, Haley called me and we talked for 2 hours. LOVE that girl. We kept saying, "Okay we should go now...wait, did I tell you about this!" It was great.

All in all it was a fantastic weekend. Love Carly. Love all my friends.
Sorry this post is lame. I just had to get through the week and the weekend before I can move on with my life.
Peace. Love......Yeah.

Who needs cows?

I'm in the middle of homework. But I'm taking a break. Let me tell you about Friday and Saturday of my break.
Thursday was a really fun day. I went to Andy's house to help him make cookies for his Eagle Project. Nobody showed up for a million hours so we watched Homestarrunner and talked about Cup Noodles. That was good times. Sometimes I'm a jerkface...
Jennie, Julie, and Christian finally showed up and we got into some intense cookie making business. Those cookies were so good...pretty sure I ate half of the dough.
THEN, we went and sang at the Food and Care Coalition again. Thursday's experience was a lot better for me. I decided to take the initiative and go talk to people. It was so cool! All these people were so happy to have us there and it was just so interesting to talk to them. I was talking to one table when one man spoke up and said, "This is my wife!" gesturing to the woman next to him. He then proudly held up his left hand, showing his ring finger and continued, "We've been married 17 years!"
"Wow!" I replied. "Has it been a happy marriage?"
"Oh yes! I pick on her, she picks on me..."
So cute. I loved that so much. That couple is going through a hard time right now, but they are still so in love. I want a love like theirs someday.

Then it was time to go home. Sometimes....6 people cram into Adam's grandma car and you are stuck on University Avenue for many hours. Solution? Chinese fire drills, talking to people in the cars next to you, and taking pictures of the semi next to you. Yeah..I'm really glad I made it home in one piece.

That night, Jennie, Eva, and I went to Macey's for some girl time and some delicious ice cream. We started to wander about the store, eating our ice cream, but we got a little bored. It was then that we decided to play my new favorite game. This game is called...ERICKIDMAN. What you do is go around the store and turn things upside-down.

This picture describes my life in the last 4 weeks....

Then we found a picture of Eva. I'm so upset that she didn't invite me to her wedding!! But hey...at least it's in the temple right?
"Eva! Hurry up!!" - Me
"I'm sorry, I was just tipping some tuna." - Eva
"...Who needs cows when you can tip tuna?" - Me.

Saturday was filled with homework. I switched every half hour between AP Bio and Reading Pages. GAG. Yeah..I'm only at 350. It's fine. Saturday night Haley came over. We "watched" Sleeping Beauty, Aladdin, Powerpuff Girls, ....Two Fat Ladies... Then Andy came over. And we watched Wait Until Dark. LOVE that movie. They didn't. Stinks for them!

Anyway...Let's just pray I survive this week. It's end of term and my Mom and Dad are going out of town. PLUS Ashlee's going to see Daniel, so I'll really be a lone ranger. Sigh. Only 2 more classes of Bio. 2 more horrid tests in that class. I can do it.

Also.....this person really picked the wrong week to be playing games. Am I over exaggerating? Probably...but seriously. Just be yourself! Ugh. Hate my life.

Peace.

Fall Break Part 1

Apparently when teachers told us we were going to be on fall break, they actually meant that they were going to let us be home-schooled for the weekend. Basically I'm up to my eyeballs in homework. But I'm taking a break (a real break) and writing on this loverly blog. I actually have been partying all weekend, which means I'm cramming all my homework in today which would explain my bitterness.
ANYWAY.
Thursday was great. I slept in and took my time eating breakfast and stalking people on facebook. Then I pulled on a hoodie and sweats and settled in for some reading. I'm reading Three Cups of Tea for English.
It is supplying me with only 300 pages of my needed 1000. And I'm only on page 130. Great. Actually I am hating reading it because the whole book is a lie. It's this guy building all these schools in Pakistan, but it turns out he didn't even build them. Basically he's a liar face so...this book isn't great. Also he can't hold down a girlfriend.

Then I decided to actually get ready for the day and Carly picked me up and we picked Amy up and all went to Carly's house. We made brownies and possibly put an entire bottle of oil in...it's fine. Then we watched Psych. Good times.

At 3:50 we went to the school to meet up with our fellow choir members to sing at the Food and Care Coalition in Provo. It's a place where people who are struggling can go and have a nice sit down meal as well as buy some groceries at a reduced price. It's a really nice institution and we got to sing for them while they ate. It was really fun.

After that I just went home. And blogged. And felt bad for not doing homework. Felt bad about life. And then went to bed. Woo hoo.

Thus concludes part 1 of my break. Don't worry. Friday was much more exciting. For now I have to dive back into that pile of homework I was talking about. Sigh.

WEDNEDSAY

So...It's fall break. So even though today was Wednesday, it acted as a Friday. Well today was the last football game of the year. In order to celebrate this madness our school had a tailgate party followed by what we call the "Color Fest". Color fest is where they have a bunch of yellow blue chalk (Orem High Colors) and you throw it at each other. Up people's noses, down their throats, in their ears, etc. It doesn't really sound that fun. And it's not.
Carly and I weren't planning on going. But Adam Leavitt used his boyish charms...and made us feel guilty...and made us swear on our lives that we would go. So we did. STUPID.
We tired to leave. Multiple times. NOBODY WOULD LET US.
So we went and threw chalk at each other. I got chalk on my face, in my mouth, up my nose, in my lungs. Yeah. That was fun. Then Carly had to sing the national anthem for the game. Problem being, the bass didn't show up! So I go around finding a man that could sing bass with them! It was super awkward.
"Hey Braden! Can you sing the National Anthem...?"
"Yeah.....why?"
"Can you sing it for the game...like right now?"
"By myself?????"
"No! With people. They need a bass...can you sing it?"
"Uh...I...guess.."
We ran to the booth. The already found someone. Awkward. Thanks anyway Braden. THEN just as they were about to sing, the real bass showed up. Idiot.
They sang and it was great. Problem. Apparently I got chalk in my lungs....so now I sound like a chain smoker. It's fine. We went to the game, awkwardly stood there for a few moments and then said, "....let's go home now."

So we did. We came to my house and wiped chalk off our faces. And arms. I blew my nose. My boogers were blue.

After we got all cleaned up, we decided that we wanted ice cream. That happens a lot. So we went to Iceberg. Except they were super low staffed like always and we waited forever. And we started to play this game that we stole from Johnny Peay. It doesn't have a name, but you hit something and then point at whoever you are playing with. It started when Carly hit the table and pointed at me and then we kept thinking of something cooler than the other person to hit. So Carly went up and hit the cardboard cutout of Frankenstein. Then she thought it would be really funny to hit the soda machine. So she did....and practically broke it!!! The whole machine went "lsdkfja orijefli". Just like that. We laughed really hard.
Seriously it took them half an hour to give us a shake. A SHAKE!!! Problem being, we saw it sitting on the counter...melting! And it took them so long to get it to us. Rude.
Then...Carly had a voice lesson from Mr. Keyes. I went with her. She pulled into the driveway and the bottom of her car scraped the sidewalk. Being Carly she said....something really funny. ;)

Mr. Keyes baby was sitting in on her voice lesson too. Then he got fussy and Mr. Keyes said, "Hey Emily, want to hold a cute baby?"
I shouted, "YES!!" And I held the baby for a long time. He's cute. Then he got a little more fussy and Mr. Keyes took him for a bit and asked him if he needed to poop. Then he handed the baby back to me. AFTER HE ASKED HIM IF HE HAD TO POOP! 2 minutes later...the baby pooped. In my hand....thank heaven's for diapers. THEN Mr. Keyes took him to his wife.
Mr. Keyes gives us vocal baptisms.

After her lesson, we decided to write Adam hate notes for making us go to color fest. So we pulled over on the side of the road to write them. It was great. So of course we wanted to deliver them, but we knocked and his little brother Aaron answered the door very seductively and his lowest voice said, "Adam's not here." Pretty sure he raised his eyebrows too. OH man! Too funny. Well we debated leaving the notes with Aaron, but then found out that Adam was on his way home so we were going to just come back. Well after the door was shut, I realized that I had to go to the bathroom SO BAD!!!! Seriously I was wetting my pants. But, we'd already left the Leavitt's and couldn't awkwardly go back to use the bathroom, so we decided to go to the park!
Problem. The park bathrooms were closed. And then we got yelled at by 3 twelve year old girls who asked us for drugs. I slapped my bum at them. Finally we went back to Adam's house. Aaron answered the door again, and I blurted out, "I really need to use your bathroom!!!"
His response? "Adam's using it..."
NO!!! So I danced until Adam was done. Finally I felt relief. Then Adam read out note...s. And he laughed. Then his mom read our notes. She laughed. Then we sat on Adam's couch and we all laughed really hard for a long time.

Adam said, "I really need to climb a tree....Emily? Do you climb trees?"
"I've actually never really climbed one before...except for when I was little, but that one was on the ground....wait."

So we went to the park and played lava tag. I stink at that game. It's fine.
Then Carly took me home. We're really cool.
Basically it was a fantastic night. Strange and long and so funny. Good times :)

Amy Alysse

This one is for my girl Amy. Amy. Foxy. Dymock.

You've seen this picture before, but that only tells you how much I freaking love the picture and this girl.
We sit next to each other in choir. Sometimes she makes me laugh so hard that I wet my pants. ....It's fine.
"Aut de cresis....."

"Sors in manis..."

"Andy...is that a booger?" "...AHHH!!!"

"Just watch Aaron Nelson when he sings!"

"Hush, hush....hush, hush..."

"Watch his triple chins jiggle..."

"So I swim next to her and go 'la la la la la' ...NO BOYS CAME!"

"I love your last name! Can I have your number?"

We share grapes and carrots in choir. Sometimes I spit in her face. Sometime I fall off my chair. You know...Amy doesn't even really sit by me. But she comes down and sits next to me everyday. Because she loves me that much. And I love her. She's a beautiful dancer. Go facebook stalk her. She always is smiling. Someday...I want to be her.
Love you Ames!!

Rats and stuff

Did you know that snakes eat rats? They do. Mr. Miller has a snake in his classroom. Tuesday, we all sat in his unbearable class and Hunter Kofford spoke up and said, "Mr. Miller, can we feed your snake?"
Mr. Miller replied with, "Do you have a rat?"
Hunter said no. She did not have a rat. I guess it just wasn't on her to do list this morning. I got a little sad, but then I came to a great realization. I raised my hand. "Mr. Miller.....can Carly and I go get a rat to feed to your snake?"
He said yes. But he said we had to pay for it. Then we tried to get class donations. Turns out high school people are poor. Finally Mr. Miller just handed us a 20 dollar bill. That was pretty cool. So Carly Lewis, Katie Abbott, and I went to Petco and bought a rat.
It didn't really click in my mind that I would be feeding the snake a real live rat. Stupid, but my mind just doesn't work that way. I almost cried as I bought the rat. I'm pretty sure we practically killed the rat by simply taking it back to school. Do you know how hard it is to keep that thing steady??
Then we went back to the classroom. Mr. Miller dumped the little guy in and...the rest was history. Possibly the scariest, saddest, funnest thing of my life.

Problem Being...Big Cup Noodles.

That. Is big cup noodles. So be Shakespeare.
Let me tell story to jyou.
First. I talk in incorrect language because of Nate Harper. When you drive on bus for very long time, Nate stand in back of bus and be stand up comedian for 45 minutes. It funny. Then you spend rest of Shakespeare talking in accent. You not really sure what accent be....but you speak in it. Then you call it "Nateharper". Problem being....you can't let go of it after Shakespeare.
This be Nate. This expression sum up Nate life.
Nate is cool.

So...We go on bus on Wednesday. We drive for many much hours. We go to St. George to see Little Mermaid. Problem being...it gets rained out. We get back on bus. We drive back to Ceder City. Nate does stand up comedian for 45 minutes. We laugh really hard. Haley says, "People no realize, we this funny EVERYDAY!" That funny.
We get to Abbey Inn. It rain. It cold. It fun. We make chant for room. It go like this, "Hummmmm....pbpbbpppbp...bleep blope bleep bloop....and a shake and a spear and a shake and a spear and a shake and a spear and a shake and a SPEAR!!! (Take note. It spells Shakespeare. Not Shakespoon. Also you have to shimmy....)
Haley and I go jump in puddles when we are supposed to be in bed. We get wet. We not go to bed. We talk about boys. We go through room and talk about love life.
*Hey. I think they are lo-ers.* (lovers said in accent. In case you not get that)

Next day it be too cold to practice in Abbey Inn parking lot. Katie's grandpa be bishop in St. George. He let us use church to rehearse. So we drive to St. George again. We rehearse for many much hours. I rehearse whole time with dirt on butt. I wearing black pants. Awkward. We have pizza for lunch. And carrots. Andy asks me if he can sit by me. I eating carrot and choke while trying to say yes......awkward.

We go home later. I sleep on the bottom of bus on way home. I wake up cold and confused. Then I want to go swimming. Eva and MIKELA convince me to eat first. I go swim. Then I shower. Then I have intense rehearsal with Adam Leavitt. It be good. I want to cry. We go rehearse more.
This be Adam Leavitt. Also see picture of me kissing him below in previous post. This picture not photo shop. (Neither is kissing one...) He is coolest person you ever meet.

That night I sleep in Ashlee's room. She be nice sister and help me get good night sleep before I perform. She make me happy. She let me cry in her room. We perform ensemble scene next morning. I get nervous and don't feel pretty. Jana does my hair for second time and tells me how beautiful and talented I am. She make me feel good.
This be Jana. Mostly I love her.
We go perform ensemble scene. They lose registration so we perform at 9:50 in morning. The no have ballots for us so they make us start over. Nate farts backstage. It smells. That was the last thing I thought before I performed.
I talk normal now. Or at least try.
The scene goes pretty well. We feel happy. We are really really really cold.
We watch the scene after us. Much Ado About nothing should never be done like Jersey Shore. Girls should never pull potato chips out of their bosom on stage.
We go home. Andy gives me Greek Yogurt and Neosporin. We sit and eat yogurt. Then we listen to Relient K and bond. It be really good time.
This be Andy. He be mysterious. And cool. Cool and mysterious.
That night everyone be angry. We go to tech olympics but group of us too angry and tired to cheer. We sit.
Adam apologizes to me. We walk around parking lot. We walk until 11:00 at night. At that time we run into Carly and Andy. We all sit in parking lot and talk until midnight. It be REALLY big cup noodles. We go back to rooms. I take Haley's hand. We lock ourselves in bathroom and talk until 2 in the morning.
Haley be prettier than all of us. I love Haley. Haley make life better. Haley and I conclude we need to be better friends.

Next day less awkward. We go to rounds. Before Awards Ceremony we talk again about cup noodles. Conclusion? No resolution. (If you are very very confused about "cup of noodles" right now, then you should be. And you are not getting an explanation!)

We drive home. It be loooong bus ride. Adam sit in bathroom whole way home. I lay on floor in front of bathroom. He crush my face many times. We talk. He gives me analogy about bunnies in room. It tell him analogy about putting pants on. He doesn't get it. Everyone just thinks he no have pants on....awkward. Story of my life.
Yesterday Carly and I work things out.
Carly be hot.

Things better now. Lots. We cool. I'm cool. Also Amy is cool. She picks up hot men....or they pick her up. She gorgeous.
I took this picture....both boys felt VERY awkward about it. This be Kennen, Amy, and Andy.
Also I love Rian. She is cooler than the world.
We re-enact Titus. Creepy.
I also saw my bestest friends Olivia Petty and Brian Johnson. I no get picture. I no get picture of lots of things. But it be okay.
1st place in Minstrel
1st place in Duo/Trio Dance
2nd place in Ensemble Dance
1st place in Duo/Trio Scene
3rd place in Ensemble Scene
3rd place in Sweepstakes
Shakespeare was super fun. It was different, but we had a good time. Mostly I love everyone in this whole world and I love having fun with them. They make me happy.
We have good time. Chapter of Shakespeare? Done. End Scene.

Shakespeare.
TODAY I GO TO SHAKESPEARE. That makes me happy. Last night we had our "Renaissance Faire" which was basically a super delish dinner and a preview of our competition scenes as well as some non-competition scenes. It was long....and I didn't do anything until the end so it was pretty boring, but my performance when pretty well. I had fun and I think it was good. There is still room for improvement, but that's why we're going to Ceder City! Thank Heavens! I can't wait. Shakespeare Festival is BETTER than Christmas. Yeah. BETTER. Eva, Haley, and I are all in the same room. Bad idea? Yeah :) But SO GOOOD. Love those girls to death!!! Can't wait! Well, this is it for the weekend. Ciao!
