Some teachers I hate. Their names are Mr. Miller. Sometimes you are in his AP Biology class AND his Government class, and you soon realize that it is possibly the worst decision of your ENTIRE LIFE. I have realized this. And that is why I am transferring out on October 28th. You see, last night, on top of the chapter reading I had to do for both classes, I had to complete an obnoxiously large Government assignment. First, we had to do this "Gerrymandering Activity". Who even knows what that is?? I do actually. It's where the districts are divided so that one party can have more representation in senate. Lame, but it happens. So I had to answer a bunch of questions on that. Then, we had to reorganize Utah's districts because our population grew and so we get another representative. Do you know how hard it is to equally divide utah into 4 districts????? Harder then you think. Try it. I'm serious. Use this link. Click on "Your Map". It took me 2 1/2 hours. TWO AND A HALF HOURS! So mad. THEN, we had to play mock Senate in class today so we had to write a bill to pass in "congress". Do you know what I wrote about? Crappy teachers. Yeah. I wrote about you Mr. Miller. So of course in class today I forgot to bring my finished product, but I'd already sent it to him, so I asked him if he would print it off for me. Being the agreeable person he is, did print it. But then he says "You wrote about how I'm a bad teacher," and part of me was tempted to say, "Yes. Yes I did." But I chose not to and instead tried to explain the components of my bill and talked about other teachers. But every point I made he was DETERMINED to bash down! He would not let me explain myself. I knew exactly what I wanted with my bill, he just kept interrupting me and would let me say it! Idiot. So we're in this heated debate and we've already taken 10 minutes up of class time and he says, "We'll finish our discussion later." What is that even supposed to mean???? So..I just really don't like him. He's not mad at me, I mean he is a Stake President after all but still. I just don't get him. OH! And then he tells me I'm a bad test taker.....what? Stick it in your ear turkey!! I really just want to punch him some days. It's fine. Life is what it is.

P.S. I hope nobody reads this for entertainment...because obviously you aren't going to get any.

So today was a B day and I love B days so so much. I have Calculus, Seminary, Choir, and Drama. Best day ever. Today was a little different though. I went to Calculus and then I went home and did miss Ashlee's hair. She got her wedding dress fitted today and since I'm doing her hair for the wedding, she wanted me to do it for her fitting as well. :) Plus her fiance got to see the dress as well. Basically she is a babe and everyone is jealous. Here are some pictorials.

Hair is still a work in progress....don't judge
Isn't she purty!!
Then, mother dearest and I went to In-and-Out for lunch. It was delish. Although I may or may not be getting food poisoning soon....we'll see.
I did make it back to school in time for Drama. We did more of the ensemble scene but it still has a long way to come. Sometimes that scene just scares me...really bad. Please bless.

Well, I unfortunately have a beastly stack of homework. So have a wonderful day!

P.S. I asked Jonny last night. Best experience of my life! I can't wait.
P.P.S. Sometimes....I wait at Carly's house until her date answers her to Sadies...and strange things happen. It's fine. Good times :)

Life

So I kind of started this blog on a whim. I was in yearbook class one day with nothing to do, and one of my friends helped me start a blog. Obviously it didn't work out well...at all. I always have moments where I think "Oh, I should go blog." but I never do. It's been hard for me to get to my journal lately, and I already spend a lot of time on the computer anyway, so I decided I'm going to give it a whole-hearted try! This blog is getting a makeover and I am going to tell you all a little about myself.

My name is Emily Erdmann, I'm a junior in High School and I love to sing, dance and act. That about sums up my life. I'm almost always in a show. I also am an active member of the choir council, I am a member of NHS, an officer on FCCLA, and in AP Biology. But don't be too alarmed, I'm transferring out of AP Bio on October 28th. Yes. I am counting down the days. I love to do hair and nails and makeup and I've seriously considered going to beauty school. I want to very badly, but it just doesn't feel right with me. Not for now at least. I'm hoping to major in elementary education and teach for at least one or two years. I also serve at Special Needs Mutual every Thursday night and that is always the highlight of my week.

Some things coming up: SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL!!!! October 5-8. SO stoked. Best. Week. Ever. Shakespeare festival is seriously better than Christmas. AND I actually get to compete this year!! I am so excited!!
Also, I get my new phone on October 12th after much pain and anguish over my other one. Holla.
Tonight I'm asking a boy to Sadies. I'm so stoked. His name is Jonny and he has down syndrome, but that doesn't bother me one bit. :) He is the sweetest, coolest boy you will ever meet and I can't wait to take him. The theme is 80's!

Well, that's about it for now. Let's get this party started!!!
